The Rules

IC Rules

  • No Fighting on Neutral Grounds: Cardinal's Rest is meant to be an escape for the underworld of Hingashi to come and relax, enjoy a drink, and maybe even talk business with your rivals. Please note that things may happen ICly, and there would be IC consequences. Warnings may be given should a fight break out... but that's to be expected here from time to time.

  • No IC and OOC Bleeding.

  • Be Respectful: While we understand that most of us are criminals here... there are still lines when it comes to Homophobia, Racism, and other Discrimination. Yakuza and the Kimura family hold high value when it comes to respecting each other. Especially on sacred grounds such as neutrality.

Sign-up, bet on fights, or simply enjoy a
drink and watch first blood be drawn.

Fight Ruleset:

1. Fight begins with d20 roll for initiative to determine turn order.
2. Players will then alternate attacks and rolls based on initiative.
ie: Player 1 will emote to attack and roll after emote and then Player 2 will roll to defend
----Player 2 will then make emote based on defending roll and include their own attack after defend/hit.
----Player 2 will roll to attack, and Player 1 will roll to defend against.
----Rinse and repeat.
(If needing further example please ask. It's a standard 3v3 Hit system with a D20)3. The first to get hit 3 times is considered out.
OR Player w/ least amount of hits wins at the end of a 20 Minute timer.
(If there are few sign-ups hit count may be upped to 5 per Referee discretion.)4. OOC Rules: No godmodding, metagaming, or extreme character harm/death without OOC player permission. (Players may sign a 'Blood Waiver'***)

5. IC Rules: All things go except death. (Players may sign a 'Death Waiver'***)

Betting Rules:

  • Minimum bet is 10,000 Gil**.

  • Maximum Bet is 1,000,000 Gil**.

  • Must be in intervals of 10,000's

  • House Fee: 5% of Lost Bets

  • Bets Cannot be Withdrawn.

Betting Outcomes:

  • Win: Recieve Original Wager + Split Jackpot of Lost Bets (Minus 5% House Cut from Jackpot)

  • Lose: Sadly... try again.

  • Tie: If there is a tie, all bets are returned.

  • *** - Death and Blood Waivers allow Players to use Weapons in Duels.

A representative of the Mitsu Family, Ichi brings experience in running yakuza bars. Having worked closely in Hiriko’s shadow for many years, Ichi was brought on to oversee the day to day operations, and serve as the main bartender to the Cardinal’s Rest.
